We are happy that Sanskriti classes are off to a good start. We hope that your child had a good first day in Sanskriti last Sunday.

Please mark your calendars for October 7, which will be a day of service for Sanskriti students as part of our celebration of M.K. Gandhi's birthday (Oct 2) and his legacy of giving back to the community.

Sanskriti Community Service coordinators, Soni Shah and Komal Panjabi have organized a day of fun and service for all Sanskriti children, teachers, and parents who will assist with the clean up of the South Mountain reservation area in West Orange.

Program: The South Mountain Reservation's Trash Tacklers

- Location: MayApple Picnic area in West Orange (off of Northfield Ave) [directions will be provided]

- Date and Time: Sunday Oct 7th from 11 -12 pm

- Supplies will be provided but you are welcome to bring your work gloves

- Bring one black trash bag (30 gallon)
We will provide water and fruits for all volunteers at the clean-up site.

Please note that Hindi and Gujarati classes will end at 10:40 on Sept 7.

Parents will pick up their children from Sanskriti at 10:40 and head to the Reservation site directly so that we can start the volunteer work at 11:00. Sanskriti cannot provide transportation to the site.

Students attending only Culture class will come directly to the clean-up site.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
