Sports in our Community:
Sports enhance camaraderie and competitive spirit of a community. During this past year our community has come together in a big way to enhance existing sports activities eg Cricket and Ping Pong as well as starting brand new initiatives of Tennis, Volleyball and Badminton. We invite everyone to join an activity of your choice with a commitment to attend it regularly.
Father’s Day Sports
Every year on Father’s Day we get together with families at the ground, play Cricket with family and enjoy breakfast. This year was no exception, we extended the Fathers Day games from Cricket for Kids, Lagoori for Moms and Dads and other traditional games. It was the most fun filled day for the family with more than 30 families participating.
In 2016 we commenced our own Bike club with 15 members! We biked in and around Livingston, Short Hills and Hanover Township to prepare for taking part in a charity event in New York in which 10 of the team members took part. The event took these Bikers through all five boroughs of the city and in approximately five hours each biker crossed the 42 mile marker! Way to go team in your first year!
During Summer/Fall/Spring we also play Volleyball on the Oval near the Gazebo on the weeekends. We have an active group of around 10-14 members joining for the game between 7-9 am.
Since the past 2 years we have been participating in the Livingston Township, SENIOR, YOUTH & LEISURE SERVICES (SYLS) Co-Ed Open Play Co-Ed Badminton
