Greetings to our community on the 73rd India Republic Day. Every year, this day commemorates the enactment of the constitution of India, which occurred on January 26, 1950.

In India, this day is celebrated with a massive parade held in New Delhi, which includes cultural, historical, and military displays. You can view a recording of the parade by searching for it on Doordarshan's YouTube channel.

Here and here are a couple of nice videos to share with your kids.

Here is a link to the Army Daredevils on motorcycles from the 2020 parade.

Here is a link to the Air Force display from the 2020 parade.

In honor of this day, there will be an unfurling of the Indian flag at the Livingston Town Hall at 9am on Sunday January 30th, 2022.

Hope to see you there!
