Garba/Dandiya

Every year, Sanskriti hosts Garba and Dandiya Raas event with live music of melodious Gujarati folk songs as well as Bollywood numbers. Beats of the Dandiya music and their singing motivates 600+ adults and children to dance for over 4 hours!

Continuing with our tradition we hold a special first hour of teaching Garba dance moves to kids and anyone new to garba. We cover basic dance moves as well as the do-taali, and teen-taali garba and Dandiya Raas.

Several vendor stalls offers their beautiful wares to the audience and food vendors serve delicious Indian food at the event. Our goal to keep prices affordable for all is appreciated by our members, especially given the quality of our event!
